About

Why ægret?

I was always health-conscious. Movement and nutrition were part of my life from an early age.

Then my father died when I was 27, and grief taught me something I hadn't understood before: health is more than how you move and what you eat.

Grief took my sleep. It brought stress and brain fog. It changed my relationships and my connection to the people around me. It made me realize how much of our health lives outside the things we typically think about when we talk about being "healthy."

So I started exploring those other pieces as I worked through my grief — sleep, stress, connection, and simply having space to be myself. Slowly, I rebuilt my life with more of them intact.

Then life shifted again.

I got married. Had a baby. Went back to a full-time career. And suddenly, there was no sleep, no time for myself, and the brain fog was back — but for a completely different reason.

And then, a year after my daughter was born, I lost my mom.

Life wasn't just busy anymore. It was changing in ways I couldn't have planned for.

I was moving my body. I was eating well. I was doing the things I'd always considered healthy. And still, I didn't feel like myself.

I began to understand something more deeply: health isn't a fixed set of habits you get right. It has to be able to move with you through the different seasons of your life — including the ones you never chose.

That's at the heart of ægret.

Now I help women who are juggling everything find ways to weave movement, nutrition, connection, and play back into their lives in ways that can actually bend and change with them.

And for women navigating grief and loss, I offer specialized support for the physical and emotional experience of that change.

Because life isn't going to stop changing. Your health needs to be able to change with it.

I'm an Institute for Integrative Nutrition Certified Health Coach and NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and I bring both professional training and lived experience to the work.
